“Whether it’s the Wicklow Mountains or the Wild Atlantic Way – have hiking boots, will travel!”

Favourite expression?
“You live and learn”
Most likely to be seen reading?
I enjoy a good biography like Richard Branson’s or Steve Jobs’ along with the occasional thriller.  I also like reading psychology books and learning about what makes people tick.
The Movie of Your Life – who’d play you?
Sigourney Weaver
Where you’ll never see Mary?
Sitting on a sun-lounger all day – would be totally bored after an hour!
World Leader for a Day – what would you do?
I’d bring the issue of climate change to the top of the political agenda
Happy Place?
Letting go of the hustle and bustle of the week by going out hiking on a clear, bright day – mostly Wicklow, but the Wild Atlantic Way, especially ‘round Clare and Galway, is beautiful too.
Desert Island Disc(s)?
I’m more of a music-in-the-background person, except when it comes to Andrea Bocelli!
That Thing You’d Save in a Fire?
Definitely my old photo albums with pictures of family & friends
Mary IRL (In Real Life)
Away from the office, Mary’s got a lot going on between weekend hill-walking, going to music or comedy gigs, catching up with family and friends, along with the occasional box-set binge too!  She’s also a keen traveller, but you won’t find Mary on a beach – instead she’ll be the one in a European city with guidebook in hand, exploring the sights, discovering its history and soaking up the atmosphere. Her strong recommendations include Vienna and Prague!
