Paul has almost twenty years’ experience as a finance professional. Paul trained with a Big Four firm and has held senior positions in the commercial sector. He has been Head of Finance for an Irish retail business with a turnover of over €100m and during his time as Global Corporate Finance Manager for an international retailer he was finance lead for the group’s successful expansion into ten new European locations. Paul has also acted as Head of Internal Audit for a major semi-state company. This extensive experience has given him a highly commercial approach, focussed on results and delivery. Paul’s areas of expertise include Financial Modelling, Negotiation Management, Project Management, Mergers, Acquisitions and Disposals and Corporate Financial Reviews. His commercial experience has allowed him to quickly understand client issues and provide sensible yet creative solutions.

Des holds joint responsibility as Head of Audit. Over the past 25 years he has accumulated a wealth of professional experience, ranging from small audits to medium-size business to audits of PLCs quoted on the London and Dublin stock exchanges. Des carries responsibility for financial services clients including UCIT, pension funds and other regulated entities. His portfolio includes a variety of international clients from the US to the Far East, including consultancy assignments for the European Commission.

Gillian has worked with clients for more than 10 years across many sectors including the motor industry, hospitality, manufacturing and in property and construction. Gillian provides both personal and corporate tax advice to companies and their shareholders and has also worked with a number of Ireland’s high wealth families in relation to wealth protection and succession planning. She has also assisted foreign groups and investors set up operations in Ireland.

Gordon is our Head of Taxation services. He has over 30 years’ experience gained with the Big Four and other mid-tier practices. He advises clients ranging from US and Irish-quoted companies to owner-managed businesses and private clients. His experience covers a broad sweep of Irish industry, including the retail, construction and manufacturing sectors. Gordon has assisted several prominent Irish families with wealth preservation and succession planning. His approach is to identify and clarify the objective, formulate the strategy and then deliver the optimum long-term tax solution for the client.

Cormac joined the business services department in 2017 and provides clients with advice on both company secretarial and payroll matters. Cormac has significant experience in dealing with company secretarial matters including compliance with the Companies Registration Office, company incorporations, the Register of Beneficial Ownership and has also honed his expertise in corporate governance. Cormac also has experience with payroll related topics such as payroll processing, real time Revenue reporting and payroll tax related Revenue interactions.
